Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Brunhilde Wirth received her PhD at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science at the University of Bonn on 26 May 1989.
She was awarded the professional title of a „Fachhumangenetikerin (GfH)” (Human Geneticist) by the German Society of Human Genetics (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Humangenetik e.V.), located at Essen, on March 1 st, 1996.
She obtained the venia legendi (habilitation) in Human Genetics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bonn.
